The “New Era of Hip Hop” Dezimal is ready to show the world who he is. Since a young age, Dezimal knew music was his passion. Combined with raw talent, dedication, and drive, Dezimal is ready to take the music industry by storm.

IAA:  What city and state are you from?

DEZIMAL:  I’m originally from Princeton, North Carolina, a small town about 40 miles southeast of Raleigh, North Carolina.

IAA:  What is your music background?

DEZIMAL:  I grew up listening to old school hip-hop.  I grew up loving music and every time a new cassette tape came out I purchased it. I made my own beat box tape when I was younger and all my friends loved it.

IAA:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

DEZIMAL:  I want to record music because I think I have a gift the can change people lives. I put hard work and determination into my music. I want to release my music because I want to take hip hop back to the time when it was fun.  The time when people could listen to a song, and sing along, line by line .

IAA:  What are your songs about?

DEZIMAL:  My songs are about everyday situations. I write music for people that is uplifting. I have songs for ladies, kids, the fellas, and the real fans.

IAA:  Who is your fan base directed towards?

DEZIMAL:  I want my music to for everyone. I focus more on teenagers , college, and everyday working people. Everybody who can relate to my story.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

DEZIMAL:  My music influences are Heavy D, Eric B., KRS One, Jay-Z, Common, J.Cole, Otis Redding, and  The Temptations just to name a few. They all have created great music.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people?

DEZIMAL:  I would describe my music as “unpredictable”. All of my music is original. I want people to say what is he going to do next.

IAA:   What makes you stand out from other artists?

DEZIMAL:  I would say my creativity. I’m in a competition with myself. I will take risks that other artists won’t because it’s not what they represent. I am building my fan base and making  my own brand.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects, you are currently working on?

DEZIMAL:  I am working on my first mix tape that will be released next month, The Beginning Vol.1. I have another project due in March and I have a group project due out in the spring. Stay ahead of your competition is the key. My album will be hosted by some of your favorite djs.

IAA:  What are your current career goals? Where do you see yourself in ten years?

DEZIMAL:  I am currently building my fan base through the Internet and networking with people.  I want to be open up for major acts by the summer. In

ten years I see my entertainment company in full operation. I will be changing people lives.
