Although Jay-Z and Kanye’s collaborative album Watch The Throne is complete, Jay is now working on his upcoming solo album. According to Digitalspy.com, the rapper has already recording two songs for this twelfth solo album. While working on his album with Kanye, Jay-Z was inspired to do a follow up to his 2009 album Blueprint 3.
He said, “I know exactly the tone and the whole feel of the album. I think when you experience creativity, you should get it out as much as possible.”
Jay-Z and Kanye held a private listening party last week, so a release date should be coming soon.
JAY-Z SPEAKS ON OSAMA BIN LADEN’S DEATH
During the listening session of The Watch The Throne album, Jay-Z revealed his feelings on the killing of Osama bin Laden and President Obama. According to Billboard, Jay first commented on the criticism that the President has received as of late. He said, “He’s the president, it’s fair. You gotta fix [the country’s current climate].”Can’t fix it all in one day. Numbers don’t lie, it’s f*cked up out there. Unemployment is still high.”
Jay then joked about how Obama should have allowed him to deliver the news of Osama bin Laden’s death on May 1st. Jay acted like he was speaking at the press conference. He said, “He was a threat, you know what I mean? We handled that.”
