Matthew Casz Perry and Kamron Trivia Caldwell make up the dynamic duo M.G.G Money Go Gettaz. Overcoming many obstacles to get to where they are today, M.G.G has the determination to succeed. With a diverse musical sound and a dedication to music, M.G.G is ready to take the world by storm.
IAA: What City and State are you from?

IAA: What is your music background?
M.G.G Trivia: I’ve been around music my whole life. I taught myself how to produce and record. I started out recording on a laptop. When I met Casz, he helped me take my talents to the next level. I have had a few broken dreams, but I know I have to stay humble and keep pushing
M.G.G Casz: I started when I was nine. My uncle used to record for Motown and also managed a band. I use to help him set up for their shows. From then on I knew I wanted to be in the music industry.
IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
M.G.G Trivia: Many people think southern rappers all sound the same. I believe that my lyrical style will show my originality. I don’t have typical beats and hooks that you often hear from southern rappers.
M.G.G Casz: I want to record music because I believe you can use music to send out positive messages to people. Music can be very therapeutic to people.
IAA: What are your songs about?
M.G.G: Some of our music is about partying and violence. Some of our songs discuss real life situations that we have experienced in our lives.
IAA: Who is your fan based directed towards?
M.G.G: Our fan base is directed towards everyone. There’s no limit to who our music can reach. There’s a little something for everyone.
IAA: Who are some of your musical influences?
M.G.G Trivia: Marvin Gaye, C.L. Smooth, Pete Rock, OutKast, Pharrel, Goodie Mob, Ludacris and The Gap Band just to name a few.
M.G.G Casz: Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, The Isley Brothers, Michael Jackson, Sublime, Suga Ray, and Fiona Apple just to name a few.
IAA: How would you describe your music to people?
M.G.G: Our music is suited to everyone, from the street scholar trying to get through his day to the college kid just wanting to step away from his studies.
IAA: What make you stand out from other artist?
M.G.G: We are not all about beats and hooks. If you listen to our music it’s not all metaphors. We discuss real life situations in our music.
IAA: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
M.G.G: We are currently working on finishing our mix tape and our album
IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
M.G.G Trivia: 10 years from now I see myself building a dynasty. I will still be making music and will have several platinum records.
M.G.G Casz: 10 years from now I see myself running a successful music studio. I will be managing several artists as well. I will still be tattooing, and I also want to own a night club and a teenage outreach program.
