KILLA KAM: I was born and raised in the lone star state, in the city of Fort Worth.
IAA: What is your music background?
KILLA KAM: I went to the studio for the first time when I was 13 years old and I have been doing it ever since. So, about seven years now.
IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
KILLA KAM: I want to record and release my own music because I feel that people want to hear something they’re familiar with. I grew up in a working class family and all I saw was work being done, so I put that same work into my music. And I think that all people really want is to hear and know is that you as an artist are working hard on something that they are going to purchase.
IAA: What are your songs about?
KILLA KAM: My songs are about living life to the fullest, not taking anything from ANYBODY, and being yourself. Too many people want to be the next Jay-Z or Wayne instead of being the first “them.”
IAA: Who is your fan base directed towards?
KILLA KAM: My fan base is directed to anybody out there up before the sunrise, clocking in on their job. Whether it’s school, your actual job, or you waking up to play with your kids, I salute you and respect you.
IAA: Who are your musical influences?
KILLA KAM: I would have to say my musical influences would be Lil Keke, Pimp C, Bun B, Kanye West, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Twista and many more people. I really tune in to any music with a message.
IAA: How would you describe your music to people?
KILLA KAM: I would describe it as real life music. Music that’s positive and promotes hard work and dedication.
IAA: What makes you stand out from other artists?
KILLA KAM: Aside from me being 6’3, I think I stand out from other artists in a way meaning I’m not going to get up there and forget my roots and where I have come from and who helped me get there. Who meaning my fans and my family. I love them both.
IAA: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
KILLA KAM: I am currently working on two projects; my solo mix tape called “Just Business” and a duel mix tape with my kinfolk, Mistro.
IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
KILLA KAM: I plan on being a common name in the music community as a major artist. In 10 years, I plan on being fully engulfed in the musical world and everything that comes with it, the ups and the downs.
IAA: How can your fans access your music and contact you?
KILLA KAM: My fans can hit me up on my:
