The Infamous-C is ready to take the Hip-Hop world by storm and put South Carolina back on the music map. With his complex rhymes and dope flow, Infamous-C is ready to make a name for himself in the music industry.
IAA: Explain a little bit about who you are and where you’re from.
Infamous-C: Well, I go by the Infamous-c and I’m an up and coming artist from Charleston, SC. I set out to be a different type of rapper. I feel like I’m coming with something different than what’s currently out there. I want to give people the real me and I would definitely describe myself as a nerd rapper but in a good way. I’m not trying to preach to anybody. This is the entertainment industry and I want to be the best at entertaining the fans.
IAA: How would you describe your sound?
Infamous-C: I would say my sound is more college than anything else but you can still dance to it and have fun. And I still want to be extra lyrical for the fans of the 90’s style of hip-hop back when you had to come with a message. I think when people hear the music they’re going to know that I studied some of the all time greats.
IAA: Who are some of the all time greats in your opinion?
Infamous-C: Definitely B.I.G. ,Tupac, Nas, Scarface, Big Pun, and Eminem. The list goes on. All of them influenced me to want to pursue music, especially Biggie.
IAA: South Carolina is pretty much an untapped market. What do you think SC can bring to the table?
Infamous-C: I think we have a lot of talented artists in my state and not just in Charleston but all over. We’ve been trying for a long time to break through and make ourselves known in the game but I don’t think anyone has gotten to the level that they want yet even though there has been some success locally. I think I can put my city on the map and put people on to south Cak Musik.
IAA: How can people get in contact with you and check out your music?
