IAA:  What city and state are you from?

CHOCLATESTINE:  Mobile, Alabama, where I have lived my entire life.

IAA:  What is your music background?

CHOCLATESTINE:  I’ve been doing open mics for years now and have even won a few. I also have my music on sites such as Reverbnation, where I have been number one for Mobile, Alabama for a long time now. I also have music on Facebook, Myspace, Soundcloud, etc., where I promote my music.

IAA:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

CHOCLATESTINE:  I desire to release and record my own music, strictly for the love of it, and because music is my passion and I want the world to hear it. Music is my life and I want to make a career out of it.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

CHOCLATESTINE:  My music is about the wild exotic sides of the female sexuality. It’s about my life, my feelings, and what I go through. It’s also for women in relationships who are in love or have had enough. I also write dance music for the kids to relate to.

IAA:  Who is your fan base directed towards?

CHOCLATESTINE:  Women dealing with their desires and emotions; those who are constantly trying to learn themselves and how to cope with all of their feelings and emotions.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

CHOCLATESTINE:  My musical influences are Khia, Trina, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Brandy, and Lil Wayne.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people?

CHOCLATESTINE:  I would describe my music as my real, true and genuine approach to the everyday life of the black woman.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artists?

CHOCLATESTINE:  My style and approach may be different but it’s me and who I am and that’s what makes me stand out. I write music that I have been through or how I am feeling.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?

CHOCLATESTINE:  I am in the process of recording 3 new songs that I am currently working on.

IAA:  What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

CHOCLATESTINE:  My career goals are that I would like to have an album out. I would like to work in a real studio where my music will sound the best. I would like to attend and have concerts starring or featuring me and having the fans and crowds cheering and yelling my name. I would like the chance to work with other artists and make money. I see myself in 10 years becoming a legend or a star signed to a label and making a better life for my children and myself. I see myself as a star and all my dreams coming true. GOD blessed me with talent and I want the world to hear it.

  4. Firstly, we have no idea who Chocolatestine is, nor why she deserves OUR attention. You should have introduced her to your readership thoroughly, giving us reason to be interested in anything she has to say. The interview segment should be short and sweet and avoid all the obvious stuff. Where’d she get her name? What’s her biggest asset? Who was her mentor? How does she see her music evolving? Etc. As it stands, too much of a cliche.

You have been doing open Mic for years.you did it for so long that you became tired but glad to see you never stopped.your blessed with talent and i love when you sing on stage.the spotlights on you now they are watching you now.give them something to talk about.you have been number 1 for mobile for so long you deserve to shine so shine big
