Twenty six year old Terrance “ Billy Bangles” Robinson was born and raised in west Philadelphia. He grew up in a household of four that included himself, his mother, his brother and his sister. Billy Bangles also grew up in a family of musicians. His uncle was the legendary Little Sunny from the extraordinary group The Intruders. The Intruders were responsible for hits like “I’ll Always Love My Momma”, and “Love Is Just Like A Baseball Game”. Being inspired by his uncle, Bangles knew at a young age music was his passion.“I remember my uncle taking us with him to the studio and watching him and his group record for hours on end” says Bangles. It wasn’t until the death of a childhood friend, that Bangles decided to actively pursue began his music career. He began writing and memorizing his raps whenever something would come to mind. Releasing his first mix-tape in 2012 entitled “ King of the Jungle”, Billy Bangles is well on his way to becoming a force to be reckoned with in Philadelphia’s entertainment industry. He is now working on his second mixtape entitled “Best of Luck” that is set to drop Spring of 2013.
