IAA:  What is your music background?

TUNEZ BOL: I’ve always had a strong passion for music. My parents were very out going when I was a child and influenced me musically.  I was raised listening to my mother play artists such as Phyllis Hyman, Michael Jackson, Teena Marie and Whitney Houston. My Father enjoyed a lot of soul music as well as funk – especially George Clinton. I first fell in love with hip after my brother introduced me to it.

IAA:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

TUNEZ BOL: I want to record and release my own music because I feel that I have something new to bring to the table. In this day and age artists are afraid to be different. Everyone follows the trends or does whatever is popular at the time. The world needs more originality and I believe I have what it takes to help start this movement.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

TUNEZ BOL: My songs are about my experiences I have in life. I write about relationships, partying and my religious and political values. I pretty much touch on every subject I have ever experienced.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artist?

TUNEZ BOL: My delivery, my voice and my lyrics make me stand out from others. I don’t believe there is anyone that sounds like me. Along with catchy hooks and bouncy beats, I believe I have my own sound.

TUNEZ BOL: I have several goals I’m looking forward to achieving such as, getting a distribution deal, becoming a household name in the industry, establishing myself as one of the top producers in the game and building my record label to be a well established company. In 10 years I see myself selling out concerts world wide and working with some of the elites in the industry. I also envision myself having one of the biggest independent record labels on the east coast. I want to sign the best acts in the world. I know it’s going to take a lot of hard work and dedication so I’m willing to put my everything into this dream until it becomes a reality.
