IAA: What is your music background?
L-D.U.B.S: I started out in the local marching band back home. I then started writing my music and started recording it at home studios.
IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
L-D.U.B.S: Recording and releasing my own music, is a sign of meditation. It allows me to express myself to people who may be in the same situation or going through a process in life.
IAA: What are your songs about?
L-D.U.B.S: My song topics depend on what I am facing at the current moment. My topics range between inspiring and uplifting, to controversy, to club and romantic songs.
IAA: Who is your fan base directed towards?
L-D.U.B.S: I direct my focus on a more adult level audience, ages 18-36.
IAA: Who are your musical influences?
L-D.U.B.S: I am influenced by Tupac, Nas, Lecrae, Dee-1, Lupe Fiasco, Eminem and a few more.
IAA: How would you describe your music to people ?
L-D.U.B.S: My music is a popish with a hip-hop feel. It’s something you can relate to and has a North meets Midwest type.
IAA: What makes you standout from other artist ?
L-D.U.B.S: I usually don’t make music about something I am not doing. I am really not the flashy type who has high price jewelry or exotic cars and who talks bad about women etc…
IAA: What are some upcoming projects you are working on?
L-D.U.B.S: I have been marketing my current single to different areas. I am working on my new single, schedule to be released soon. I am also working on two different mixtapes and last but not least an album set to be release later on this year.
IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in10 years?
L-D.U.B.S: I want to be doing music as a full-time career instead of treating it as a hobby. I am a superstar on the come up. Catch me on VH1, MTV, BET, real soon.
