IAA:  What is your music background?

SKINNY:  I started out writing poetry and then my poetry turned into music.  I’ve been doing music for about ten years.  I do hip-hop but also dab in other genres.  I write and record all of my music.  It’s what I love to do.

IAA:  What inspired you to pursue music?

SKINNY:  As an artist, I just naturally love to do music.  I believe that there is a  message that can be found in music.  There is a song that inspires everyone personally.   My music inspires me.  I record and release my music because I want to inspire others.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

SKINNY:  My songs are about many  topics.  I often write about being an underground artist trying to make a name for myself.  I write about staying focus in the midst of obstacles, and I touch on issues concerning life, love, and feelings. My songs are about different subjects and ideas. Whatever I am feeling when I listen to a beat is what I often write about.

IAA:  Who is your fan base directed ?

SKINNY:  Some of my music is explicit, so I direct my music towards fans between the ages of 18 and 30. My music is directed towards  people who like my genre.  Majority of my listeners are hip-hop fans.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

SKINNY:  I listen to everything from classical to country.  I’m most influenced by classic rock, hip-hop and r&b.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people?

SKINNY:  My music is hip-hop.  It is old school meets new school, Midwest style, but varies  depending on my  connection to the beat.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artist?

SKINNY:  I stand out from other artists because of my ability to create a  broad range of music.  I am able to incorporate rock, hip-hop, r&b, jazz, classic rock, pop, and more into my music.  I like to broaden the spectrum.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects you are working on?

SKINNY:  I am working on a mix-tape with various artists. I am also  working on  my solo album.  The release dates will  be posted  on my site.

IAA:  What are your career goals?

SKINNY:  I would like to be able to reach a larger audience with my music.  I would also like to tour and perform in some of the legendary venues.  I want to inspire people with my music.  There are no limits to your imagination if you truly believe in yourself.

  24. Yooooo, folks need not to sleep on Skinny, given the right promotional team this guy is gonna be a serious problem in the music world and I’m proud to say, I know him. Keep up ya hustle bro & I’ll see you on tour. Big UPS

  25. The problem today with music artists is that they aren’t truly artistic and think with an artistic mind. In order for music to be truly inspiring is for the artist to open their mind to art and poetry not just music but every kind of art. all of these up and coming artist are all focusing on something different ; their facade , what everyone sees, materialistics. Skinny is true to himself and he is a true artist With music that people can really relate to but adds a spin on it because his music is often a mix between a lot of styles of music. There’s a lot of people who have faith you’ll go far and that is so amazing to see so much support. So sorry it took me this long to show my love on this page but you know I’ll always support you .

  26. I’ve been listening to your music for over 10 yrs now and I still love it!! You always come up with newer and fresher songs and I hope to hear more from you soon Skinny ???
