IAA: What is your music background?
BOSS FROSS: I started out as a DJ at the age of 14, and I was also a member of a rap group. I have been doing music ever since.
IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
BOSS FROSS: I want to the world to know who Boss Fross is and where I come from. I want people to love my music as much as I do.
IAA: What are your songs about?
BOSS FROSS: My songs are about my life, what I have been through, and where I am going. My music is an expression of my struggle.
IAA: Who is your fan base directed towards?
BOSS FROSS: My fan base consists of people who like all genres of music. I feel as though everyone should hear reality.
IAA: Who are your musical influences?
BOSS FROSS: I have been influenced by Bootsy Collins, George Clinton, Luther Vandross, E-40, Master P, and Scarface.
IAA: How would you describe your music to people?
BOSS FROSS: My music is a story of everyday life that I have experienced while growing up.
IAA: What makes your stand out from other artists?
BOSS FROSS: I am the last of a dying breed in my generation. I feel like there is good music out there, but I stand out because I believe in speaking the truth.
IAA: What are some upcoming projects that you are working on?
BOSS FROSS: I am working on “Da Boss Lady// Conjugal Vizits” and “Tha Birth of Blacc Hennessy” I currently have a mixtape entitled, “Benjermaids.” The mixtape was released on April 12, 2013, and is on sale now at 7th Heaven.
IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
BOSS FROSS: I would like to see Hitalik Records grow as a brand in years to come. I want to be a respected CEO of a prosperous record label with success and longevity.
