IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What city and state are you from?

SETH B:  I’m from Virginia Beach, Virginia! Grew in the 757 but have been blessed to see myself outside of the 757 as well. I’ve had the chance to travel and experience some of the opportunities life has to offer which in return made me want this life even more.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What is your music background?

SETH B:  I’m a writer, producer, performer, and whatever else I need to be in order to make my projects successful. I’ve learned that if you want to survive in this industry you have to be multifaceted. Overall I’m just a fan of music!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

SETH B:  Simply put, it’s because I love music and how it can reach and touch the lives of people I’ve never met! With hopes it will provide the chance for me to one day meet them and have them feel like they know me. Plus, if you do it right, it’s not a bad living.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What are your songs about?

SETH B:  Most of my songs are about life experiences I was able to translate into music. Other songs are random thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it’s all about how the record makes me feel. I try to go where the record takes me without having to force it. I like it to feel organic.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  Who are your musical influences?

SETH B :  Wow, we could be here all day for that one. Bob Marley, Run DMC, Nina Simone, Aerosmith, Jay-Z, and the list goes on! Every time I listen to music I’m influenced, good and bad. I remember the first time I heard NWA I was like damn I want to make music like that… It was true to the roots of where they came from while bringing issues to light that otherwise would’ve been swept under a rug. I want that chance to be mentioned as an influence to music!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  How would you describe your music to people?

SETH B:  It’s a collective blend of the multiple dimension of me. It’s my journey brought to you over instrumentals, hip hop through my eyes if you will. It’s a roller-coaster ride like no other!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What makes you stand out from other artists?

SETH B:  Presentation and work ethic come to mind right off the bat. They say dress for the job you want not the one you have, and I’m out to be a brand able to be placed in any market! My ethic is impeccable because I realize opportunities like this don’t come everyday. So I work to put myself in a position to grow and seek out any and every opportunity I can that will allow me to become the brand I’ve always dreamed of. I love music but it boils down to this, it’s a business a job and I take pride in what I do. I’m not willing to risk everything I’ve worked for this far that’s what makes me stand out. Also the fact that I make good music doesn’t hurt!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in your music career and how did you overcome?

SETH B:  Finding the resources is probably one of the hardest challenges, but that’s something we all go through as artist. Like anything worth having I had to make sacrifice in order to get it. I’ve been fortunate to have a good team behind me to help me navigate this journey!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?

SETH B:  I have a full plate of projects I’m working on. We are trying to wrap up the final details on the album.  I have a DJ Karee record I’m working on called “I Like Em,” I am also working on a Smilez TF1 record. I’m putting together this Big Shotz mixtape, and I have a few projects with Stu Gretto that  I’m working on. I’m about to start rehearsing with this alternative band Ruckus In The Paper, as well as putting together the clothing line. Like I said I have a full plate.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  What are your career goals?

SETH B:  To establish my music and my brand and become the best artist I can be. Truth be told I want a Grammy, my own label, and any other business ventures that fit onto my plate.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

SETH B:  I want to be seen as a major force in the music industry, silver screen, and television. I want my music to be the platform in which all my goals and dreams are reached from! A household name!

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS:  How can your fans access your music and contact you?

SETH B:  Fans can reach me @BIGSHOTZMUZIK on twitter, reverbnation.com/sethbmunster , or twitmusic.com/bigshotzmuzik. And coming soon you’ll be able to find me on iTunes. I look forward to and welcome all who want to follow on this journey!
