TOPPNATCH DEADLYARTZ: Music is therapy for me. Music is a way for me to express myself. Music makes me feel like I have a purpose in life. They say if you want something done properly then you have it do it yourself. Music is my favorite hobby. It has shaped me into the person I am today. I have been doing music for over 12 years now so not only do I view music from a fans point of view, but also from an artist as well. From what I’ve seen and what I’ve heard I know that I can hang with the best.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?
TOPPNATCH DEADLYARTZ: What makes me stand out from other artistes is my flow, my delivery, the way I put my lyrics together and the ability to satisfy my fans. I have the ability to adapt to what’s happening now. My flow is unique, versatile, and easy for people to recognize, and I think that’s what makes me stand out from other artists.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
TOPPNATCH DEADLYARTZ: Yes I do have a few upcoming projects that I’m currently working on because I do like to stay busy and keep moving forward. The next project that I’m working on is called “Paid When I feel Like.” Its a mix tape and the reason why its called “Paid When I feel Like” is because money makes the world turn. Who wouldn’t want to get paid when they feel like? Also I’m getting a little older now and things are starting to happen for me. I’m getting out there and I’m getting a little change now. I’m proud of this next project because the content on this CD actually shows the transition of me not having money to me getting money. See where I’m from nobody really gets paid when they feel like. So I felt like “Paid When I feel Like” was an appropriate name for this project. Now that I’m making some noise I’m also working on “Making Noise or Volume#1” which is almost done but that’s another story. I’m also working on my own brand and company called “Streetlivityent.” It’s a clothing line, modeling agency, and a promotional network.

In 10 years I can see myself looking at someone like I am today and say, “Hey kid, I like your style. How would you like a record deal?”
