When it comes to talent, few rappers have what Timothy Wile a.k.a. Tim Da Toolman possesses. Growing up in Texas, Tim originally started out freestyling when he was in 6th grade and by 8th grade year Empire Media and Productions wanted to sign him. Not ready to tell his parents about his dreams of having a hip-hop career, Tim declined the offer. In 2010 Tim Da Toolman decided to go full force with rapping and Tim started Tool Recordz in 2010 with Gee, which had artists including Atown, Robb, Mike Fiene, Young Mizzy, Q-Beccy, Khirifa, Zeus, and Leo Named Simba. Around July 2012 Chase Keller aka Chaseboy offered Tim to be his prodigy and together with Pasky and Wings they made TreeHuggerz or TreeHuggerz Familay. Since then TreeHuggerz and their slogans “Tz up” and “Hug Sumthn” have gone global. Tim is also the C.F.O. of TreeHuggerz Media Group. Tim has done work with Dizzy Wright, Bushwick Bill, Shame Gutta, Tum Tum, Da Champ Productions, Mark Gaboda and many more. He also has artists such as Antos, Lil Dova, and Mr. 713 on Tool Records, G is still the CEO. Tim Da Toolman is gearing up to take the hip-hop world by storm.

TIM DA TOOLMAN: Austin, Texas
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your music background?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: I started off rapping at 12. I was offered a contract at 13 and denied it. I went independent and so far have been on tour with Inspectah Deck of Wu Tang clan in Florida,and have also done tracks with artist such as Bushwick Bill, Dizzy Wright, Tum Tum, Mark Gaboda, Shame Gutta, and many more. I started my own “Brand” you could say with my friend Gerbrea when I was 18. Since then I have been fully devoted too my music. It is my passion.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: Because I feel as though no one is doing it like I am. They are all imitations of one another, rapping about the same old bull. I’m trying to bring real hip-hop back like Biggie, Pac, Big L. As we all know history repeats itself and that is also why my slogan is “Fixin Da Game Up”. I make music to vent. I express myself through a microphone, and people vibe with it. There could never be a better feeling than that.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your songs about?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: It depends, I always think about what’s marketable. However, I’m very versatile. So at one moment is could be a song for the females. Some songs filled completely with metaphors, some about my life, and my struggles, and a few stories that have meanings within them.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who is your fan base directed towards?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: Anyone and everyone, I’m not picky I want the world to vibe with the next up and coming artist.

TIM DA TOOLMAN: Biggie Smalls, Big L, Tupac, Eminem, and Hopsin

TIM DA TOOLMAN: Two words “Reality Rap”.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: My work ethic, my stage presence, my grind, my love for my fans, my everything makes me stand out.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: My 1st album “Tool Time” due to be released next year (a few singles are already out) and a free mixtape for the fans called “Da Tool Tapes Vol. 3”. I have no official release date.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
TIM DA TOOLMAN: Me and my entire family living comfortable with no more worries about debt, or health bills, or having to live on the streets. I want to be 100% successful.
