Antonio Manley was born in Chicago,Illinois now living Lawrence,Kansas.Has produced for numerous artists, including Tony Gaines, KP, Diamond G, Boy Big, Ducoh, Cassanova, JDiggs, Mr. Fab, and Rich Da Factor. Antonio’s passion for music allows him to tap into the emotion of each in individual sound, his incredible ear for detail separates him from the crowd. Antonio is a humble producer who welcomes constructive criticism and recognizes it as an avenue to improvement.
Antonio uses an eclectic variety of sounds coupled with an unorthodox approach to combine all genres of music. He has a remarkable ability to incorporate several individual sounds into a unique and emotional piece. Antonio’s beats are in top demand from artists who praise them for the clean crisp flow that is the “key”stone to knocking out legendary lyrics.
Antonio is inspired on a daily basis by his God, his family and the many influential artists in the industry. To Antonio, music in all forms is nothing less than motivational and inspirational.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What city and state are you from?
ANTONIO MANLEY: I was born in Chicago, Illinois and now live in Lawrence, KS.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your music background?
ANTONIO MANLEY: It all started with my father playing music in our home. My father loved genres of music from jazz to rock and I was constantly exposed to music as a child. As a teenager I often made mix tapes and attended every concert I could get a ticket for. In my early 20’s a friend gave me a keyboard and some sounds. At first music was a hobby for me while I worked full time but after getting laid off it became full time.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
ANTONIO MANLEY: I feel there is something missing in the current music industry. I feel my music is as good as and often better than the mainstream songs played on the radio. I enjoy making my own music and know many people who enjoy listening to it. I would love to get paid to do what I love.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your songs about?
ANTONIO MANLEY: The songs I produce are about life, love, fun. I try to stick to topics everyone can relate to and will want to hear again and again.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who is your fan base directed toward?
ANTONIO MANLEY: I make music for everyone but my main fan base is 18-40.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who are your musical influences?
ANTONIO MANLEY: My musical influences include hundreds of artists but some of my favorites are Stevie Wonder, Timberland, Kanye West, Andre 3000, Marvin Gaye, Missy Eliot, Maroon 5, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel etc.

ANTONIO MANLEY: My music is fresh, soulful, inspiring, and unique.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?
ANTONIO MANLEY: I stand out from other artists because of my experience, my ear for and true love for music, perseverance, and a desire to get better with each
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
ANTONIO MANLEY: I am currently working on several projects including an EP with my son Mello. I am also working with a gospel rapper named Dre Tee. We recently filmed a video for Dre Tees “Understand It”. I also hope to create a compilation featuring some of Lawrence, KS best talent.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
ANTONIO MANLEY: My goal is to be a recognized master of my craft. I will always make music for the love and enjoyment of other music lovers. In ten years I see myself with my own company, providing well for my family and continuing to make music in a bigger and better studio. In ten years I see myself being blessed to take care of the people who have struggled for
my craft. It is not my goal to be famous. I create music because I love it. My goal is to be able to provide for my family while doing what I love.
