My music is deeply rooted in the south but it not everyday southern hip hop. My music can send a message, tell a story, and provide positive influence.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?

DOOLEY KP: Every artist can say they different from the next, but I feel I stand out because I don’t try to fit inside a bubble and do what everyone else is doing. I dare to be different. I don’t use profanity but I can still get my point across. I feel I don’t try to be what I’m not or pretend to portray someone else lifestyle. I feel I’m original in a sense. I only try to be Dooley KP

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What would you like to see changed in today’s music industry?

DOOLEY KP: I feel that there is not originality. I feel music has lost its soul and there is no substance in a lot of it. I respect every artist and their talent to do what they do but the music all starts to sound the same. I feel artist has lost the art and passion that other use to have. We need the music that’s here but we need variety also. So I feel substance needs to be restored

  10. I’m very proud of you fam. You know, It’s not often to come across an individual that has a childhood dream; Still fighting as an adult to make that dream a reality. As we become older, many of us lose sight of our childhood dreams. We quit on them because we become cynical and are consumed with the fear of failure, we quit on them because we lack the motivation and courage to keep fighting even though it’s hard to see the end of the tunnel, we quit on them because we lack confidence in ourselves so when someone says you can’t fulfill your dream; we began to second guess ourselves and believe every word that person says; and lastly we quit on them because we don’t have faith that God will make a way. There’s not a thing on the face of the Earth that we cannot achieve. Thank you Dooley KP for not quitting fam! You motivate us cuz to take a childhood and never let it go!! You are the diamond in the rough for sure and will take the World sir, hell its yours!
