IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What city and state are you from?
CAPOE GRAMZ: I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I reside in North Minneapolis but I have lived on both Sides( SouthSide,Northside).
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your music background?
CAPOE GRAMZ: My musical background came from my grandfather, who is deceased, but he used to sing old school 70s music, a lot of Curtis Mayfield. He used to play the conga drums, also the flute from what I can remember he played jazz a lot when I was younger and a lot of 70s funk music. Then my mother, She sings mainly old church songs Acapella. My uncle use to rap when he was younger but he never really pursued it as he should of and my father played Gangster Music Scarface Mainly.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
CAPOE GRAMZ: The reason Why I record music is because it helps me release stress plus I love to rap and create art. I love to see reactions from people after hearing something I said. It just gives me energy it’s like feeding when I record my music. I want To release my music to the mass so that it can help others either get through their day, motivate them to get some money, uplift their spirits, give them an anthem to ride to and make a revenue for myself.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your songs about?
CAPOE GRAMZ: My songs all vary on topics and subjects. I might rap about how looking and independent a women is on one track then the next track maybe how the girl that was so fine did me wrong, I might have a song about hustling the positives outcome then a song upon the negatives to it just keeping everything authentic and real speaking from the heart. then also have bas to let people know can go bar for bar with the best rappers.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who is your fan base directed towards?
CAPOE GRAMZ: My fan base would be directed to someone 16 to 50 years old that has hip-hop influenced lifestyle or someway affiliated with music in some form I would appeal very relatable from all the things I rap about what I might be going through and got through that can help my core fan base get threw there issues.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who are your musical influences?
CAPOE GRAMZ: Truly Good Music Honestly but I grew up listening to 2pac, Scarface, Jay-z, Master P, Biggie Smalls, Lil Wayne, T.I. and a lot of underground artist from all coast and r&b artist as well different genres also like jazz, spoken word, classical, native sounds and songs. Other artist also not just mainstream.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: How would you describe your music to people?
CAPOE GRAMZ: I would describe my music to peoples as A breath of fresh air Meaning I’m not what you’re going to hear on the radio it’s going to be totally different sound and feeling experience. I Mix My Lyrical Ability With the storytelling its a very addictive formula for listeners the way I say things I have a sort of euphoric vibe on tracks.

CAPOE GRAMZ: What Makes me stand out is my creativity, work ethic , my drive and my sound, my word play the way I put my songs together how I structure them my catchy choruses that have them stuck in your head for months, my vocabulary and metaphors within my verses themselves. IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
CAPOE GRAMZ: My Upcoming Project is an six Track Ep Entitled “Trap Poetry” That will be available for sale on Cdbaby.com and I will have physical copies. Also I am working on finishing two singles before the year is out. One which is on Worldstarhiphop.com called “Dear Amerika” and the other track is called “I Don’t Care” featuring my younger brother Skrapp Gramz.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
CAPOE GRAMZ: My career goals are to have consistently good projects for the next ten plus years. Ten years from now I see myself fully established in the music profession with a solid brand that can pack clubs and venues also the major hip-hop festivals around the globe.
