YUN ERA: I’m from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but Saskatoon is what I call home ever since I landed from African in 2002
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your music background?
YUN ERA: My rapping obsession began seven-eight years ago but before all this I use to go around bands and choirs learning every aspect slowly building up till I forced myself into the habit of writing working with various producers every step of the way
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
YUN ERA: It used to be because I wanted to learn and know how to write music. Singing was never a problem, but now it’s all about making a great track plus I got fans now I just keep feeling like I can do much more
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your songs about?
YUN ERA: My songs are extremely sensitive somehow and can relate to most songs in other genres in the music industry but I guess that’s the great thing about gangster rap how else can you explain it other than what it is
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who is your fan base directed towards?
YUN ERA: My target audience is aimed right around the age of sixteen to sixty-five but there’s room for the younger ages and just anyone into hip-hop
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who are your musical influences?
YUN ERA: I’ve always looked up to most of the big names in the game no doubt but my biggest influence of all is based on instrumentals
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: How would you describe your music to people?
YUN ERA: Its gangster rap anyone who plays or listen to my music would probably tell you the same thing I’m saying
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes your music stand out from other artists?
YUN ERA: I work hard to get it right day in day out let’s just say I’m good at what I do
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
YUN ERA: We are currently working on the group mix-tapes at the moment called “Strictly Business” it’s a two headed mix-tape “Strictly for the Streets” and “Strictly for the Money” dropping in November 2015

YUN ERA: Focused more on the bigger picture like albums and mix-tapes improving all technical bases and increasing my stage appearance at the same
