IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What city and state are you from?
LEN FRAZIER: I am from East side Long Beach, California.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your music background?
LEN FRAZIER: I have been writing music since I was 10 years old, but basketball was my 1st choice and I was good I just didn’t like school. After I dropped a mixtape back in 2011. It lead me to meeting Glasses Malone in 2012 at a time when I was losing hope and taking care of my sick mom. He heard my music and told my team and I that we were a “Future Movement.” He gave us a twitter shout out too. Months later I met TDE’s artist Ab-Soul in Carson. He gave us advice and informed us that we shouldn’t be scared to be different.
Since then I have been taking it serious, perfecting my craft, and studying all the people I considered to be great. I have done shows in Hollywood, Downey, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. I’ve worked with Grammy Nominated producer K.E. on the Track, Like from the LA group PAcDiv, TayF3rd who is big in my city he is signed to Big Boy from 92.3 The Beat, and also got beats from Poly3ster he has done beats for Dom Kennedy, Nipsey Hussle, and others. Months ago I had an article on me in “Rudeboy Forever” Magazine. The article is titled “Smokin Len Frazier, Not Afraid to be Different”.

I also speak for the women out the single mothers, independent women, doesn’t matter I don’t disrespect the good women.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: How would you describe your music to people?
LEN FRAZIER: I would say my music is a breath of fresh air. It’s something different.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?
LEN FRAZIER: It’s the way I dress, my flat top, and the fact that I am really trying to make music that will inspire the youth and others. I have nephews and nieces that look up to me, so I want them to hear my music and hopefully it will motivate them to go on the right path and not the wrong one. In my music I say “we” and “us” more than I say “I”. People don’t want to always turn up. We all have problems. I just lost my mom in December so musically I’m thinking different.
IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
LEN FRAZIER: I just dropped a mixtape on June 24th called “Flyin With The Fishes vol. 2” I named it that because where Im from people assume you have to act “tough” or have a “gun” for people to accept you, but you can be different. It also was a place I went mentally while taking care of my mom before she passed.http://www.audiomack.com/album/lenfrazier/flyin-with-the-fishes-vol-2
