LIL WILL: I’m from Centreville, Illinois. I grew up in Cahokia, Illinois.

LIL WILL: My music background is rap.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your songs about?

LIL WILL: My songs are about real life situations, rather it’s getting money, the government, racism, rich and poor, or my own life. I talk about it all.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What is your favorite song to perform and why?

LIL WILL: I love to perform all my songs. I’m committed to giving the fans constant and quality music that they can relate too.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What has surprised you the most in the pursuit of a career in music?

LIL WILL: You can be the hottest rapper and not even know it. You have to just keep working. The more I push myself the better I get. Hard work pays off. I have a lot of gratitude, and the rewards will come for free.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: Who are your musical influences?

LIL WILL: My musical influences are 2pac, Master. P, Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz, and Gucci Mane.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: How would you describe your music to people?

LIL WILL: My music is real life music. It is inspirational, motivational, energetic, enlightening, breathtaking, catchy, and fan grabbing.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?

LIL WILL: I have a record label with ideas on how to launch and build my own brand in the industry.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What would you like to see changed in today’s music industry?

LIL WILL: I would like the industry to end the 360 deals. I don’t think the label needs to have full control on everything. Give your artists some lead way. Build a contract so that the both of you are getting what you really want out the deal and that way the label is happy and the artist is happy.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects that you are currently working on?

LIL WILL: I’m currently working on my eighth mixtape entitled Real Life 3 which releases June 3, 2016. My first solo album entitled Book of Knowledge which releases Oct 9, 2016.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

LIL WILL: I want to build the most dominant and successful brand that the music industry has ever seen and sell billions of records. I want to put my kids through college and become the greatest rapper of all time
