Antonio Quartez Morgan (born July 3, 1986), better known by his stage name Tony B, is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee. He has a long musical history from playing in his well know school band at Melrose High. Straight out of high school Tony B purchased his very own studio equipment and started producing local artist such as The Robinson Boys, The Sweepa, Lil Yatta, Eagle Eye Entertainment, South Side E.N.T. and many more. He is a founding member of the Southern hip hop group E.M.C.M.G, established in 2009. In 2010 he got recruited into V Squad Records also known as Go Life with Rock Dillon. In 2011, Tony B and E.M.C.M.G was announced as the first place winner in an underground hip hop contest he entered them in. TONY B: I am from Memphis, Tennessee.

TONY B: I played in Melrose High School band, and I have been producing my own music since 2005.

TONY B: My music is mostly about my fast life, partying, my dreams, and my experiences.

TONY B: “My Hittas” is my favorite song to perform because I won a contest performing it.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What has surprised you the most in the pursuit of a career in music?

TONY B: I am surprised by how much talented people have such a hard time getting discovered.

TONY B: My musical influences are Tupac, DJ Paul, Juicy J, and Project Pat.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: How would you describe your music to people?

TONY B: My music is real, explicit, and inspirational.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?

TONY B: I stand out because of my team of artists. My artists write a wide range of music that touches the fans. I make the beats and they write.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What would you like to see changed in today’s music industry?

TONY B: I would like to see artists stay true to themselves instead of being put in a box called “image”.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What are some upcoming projects that you are currently working on?

TONY B: My team and I are putting together a mixtape of our summer 16 hit songs.

TONY B: I want to open my own business such as a Studio Producing Firm that elevates and inspire artists.
