Chance the Rapper blessed “The Tonight Show” stage on Monday (Oct. 3) with a star-studded edition of “Blessings (Reprise).”
Joined by Anthony Hamilton, Ty Dolla $ign, Raury, and D.R.A.M., Lil Chano from 79th rhymed about his past, present, and future.
“Found warmth in a black queen for when I get col’,” he rhymed. “Like Nat King, I’m doing the dad thing / I speak of wondrous unfamiliar lessons from childhood / Make you remember how to smile good.”
The Kenzo x H&M model, who calls himself “Kanye’s best prodigy” on the track, was also accompanied by a choir, which was lined up in the stands. Chance, Hamilton, Ty, Raury, and D.R.A.M. all appeared in front of them to bow at the end.
In addition to Ty and Raury, the album version of “Blessings” features appearances from Anderson .Paak and BJ the Chicago Kid.
The uplifting song can be found on Chance’s latest effort, Coloring Book. Released in May, the project went on to make history as the first-ever streaming-only offering to make the Billboard 200.
Lil Chano is currently on his “Magnificent Coloring World Tour,” which runs through Oct. 21 in San Francisco before heading overseas.
