BOOSIE DA WIZ: I have always been a fan of music. When I was young, I would pick up a guitar and mimic Bootsy Collins. Which is where I get my name from. My mother started calling me Boosie. It stuck with me as I got older. I use to perform and make rap music with my friends, who I grew up with. As time went on, I became a solo artist.

I make music about trendy things people talk about in their projects. A lot of good stories come from there.

IAA INDUSTRY NEWS: What makes you stand out from other artists?
BOOSIE DA WIZ: My best music is my worst. What I mean by that is I will always do my best to do better. That is why with every new track I produce. I just have to out do myself every time.
